How would you describe your art?
Ah.. photographic! Mostly.. Usually revolves around some aspect of nature - be it wildlife, some kind of landscapes, macro, or concept, though Im interested in doing other things too.
Have you had any art education?
No not really, the last course I did was an utter failure, and failed to teach much at all.
So are you making any money?
Sometimes!
What are your influences?
Nature, usually, amazing beautiful natural scenery, or something that catches my eye, ocassionally I'll be inspired by someone else's work, but it's usually by what I see in front of me.
What are you working on at the moment?
Narrow landscapes at the moment, a lot of sunset and night pics, as they tend to make the best images with what equipment I currently have available, Im working on a concept for a technique to allow me to create visions of peculiar worlds out of normal landscapes.
Working on more concepts for Infrared Photography as well.
Lastly, Im planning on doing some underwater stuff - Im going to get my diver's certification eventually - but I want to seal a completely manual 35mm film camera for underwater usage - rather than a dedicated one, allowing me aperture and shutter speed control, if I can work this concept, I might try it on a film SLR with wide angle lens (or a compact 35mm with wide angle prime if i can find one).
What would you like to do in the future?
Work for National Geographic - or something similar - being able to travel around the world to the most amazing and remote places on Earth, finely developing my skills and work to a point where it amazes and inspires other people.
I dont care about the money (I just want enough to go around to places for this kind of work - or be sent there/sponsored, enough to own my own array of equipment I want to use, and also enough for decent food obviously haha), I care about being able to do that kind of thing.

When a smile isn't enough, Well maybe not the smiles of the faces that watch you, But the smile of a lost friend, A lost hope, A lost dream, But never forgotten
